Description
This French & Indian War and Revolutionary War period sword is probably of French origin. The brass guard consists of an outboard shell. The grip is plain turned wood. The 25 ¼ inch blade has a single fuller at the top. The sword is 30 ½ inches overall. The sword is in excellent condition, the blade being a very smooth silver finish. The wooden grip has most of its original varnish.
