Description
This is a high quality English style pepperbox. It has the Belgium “ELG” mark between two of the barrels with crown “D”. The barrels are numbered and screw off for loading. The barrels appear to be Damascus and the pepperbox is fully engraved. The grips are of a fancy burl walnut. On the inside of the backstrap it is marked “Mariette Brevette” which indicates this might be French patented. The gun is in excellent condition, smooth with a silver and grey mixed finish. The barrels are 2 ½ inches long and the gun is 6 ¼ inches overall.
