Description
This is a beautiful pair of brass 18th century French or European candlesticks,
Circa 1700. The candlesticks maintain an excellent sharp definition of the
faceting and shaft.. One of the candlesticks has a solder repair. There are some
subtle differences between the two but they have been together for a long time
in an old Maine house. They are 8 inches high with a 4 ½ inch octagonal base.
Beautiful mellow patina.
