Description

This is a five arm tin chandelier, 18 inches high overall and 18 inches in diameter.
The chandelier arms are serpentine shaped from rolled edged tin. The candle sockets are riveted to the arms through the scalloped bobeches and the arms are soldered to the body of the chandelier The body of the chandelier is constructed of two tin cones rolled and seamed and has scallop cone caps on the top and bottom. There is a central support wire that runs through the body of the chandelier with rings at either end with the wire coiled at either end for support. The chandelier has a wonderful untouched 18th century patina and in excellent condition.
