Description
This plug payonet is either English or American made and fits in a musket of 75-80 cal. It has rolled and braised brass ferrels. The crossguard is iron in the shape of mortar and cannonball design. It is 10 inches long overall. The blade is 6 inches long and 1 inch wide with a medial ridge on either side. It has a beautiful patina and is in excellent condition. One side of the blade has some minor corrosion. It fits nicely in our pre-Brown Bess musket of 1720.
