Description
This is a hard to find mirror as they date from the early 18th century (1720-1740) and few have survived. This mirror is mahogany veneer with nicely molded glass surmount. The molding is constructed along the grain of the mahogany. The mirror is constructed in two pieces as typical of this period. The mirror is in excellent condition with old or original finish. The mirror measures 45 inches high x 16 inches wide. The backboards and possibly the glass are 19th century replacements.
