Description
This is an American Chippendale mirror, circa 1790-1800 attributed to James Stokes of Philadelphia. The mirror is solid mahogany on a white pine frame. The backboard is possibly a 19th century replacement. The mirror has a rich mahogany finish. It measures 20 5/8 inches x 12 ½ inches.
