Description

This tin lantern has a tier drop shaped globe with applied glass band at top and bottom. The font is glass and houses a whale oil burner. Inside the base there is 80-90 per cent of the asphaltum remaining. The rest of the lantern is a smooth greyed tin finish. It is in excellent condition with little to no dents. It measures 14 ½ inches to the top of the carrying ring, 12 inches with the ring down, and 5 5/8 inches at the base.
