Description
This early American Plover decoy is 11 inches long 4.5 inches high and1.5 inches thick. The decoy contains 99% of its original paint and includes original mounting stick. This plover was found in the attic of Willy Mahew's store in Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard, Mass. I aquired the decoy from a gentleman who found it along with a rig in the attic years ago. With the decoy a bill of sale accompanies the decoy. In the document he states that Mayhew took decoys in trade at his store. The carver is unkown.
