Description

This lantern has an oval shaped molded globe with bands. It retains 80 to 90 per cent of the asphaltum finish on the base, underneath the base, underneath the font and on the carrying ring. The heat of the lantern has removed most of the finish from the top ventilator. The pinch burner has a two light whale oil burner in the font. It measures 17 ½ inches to the top of the carrying ring, 13 inches with the ring down, and 5 ¾ inches at the base.
