Description
This is an exceptionally high quality boxed parallel rule. The rule is double armed with tension adjusting screws. The rule is constructed of boxwood laminated over a brass foundation with the outer edge of a white material that simulates whalebone. The box is lined with green felt. The box top and base are numbered “153”. The rule is 18.125 inches long x 3.5 inches wide. The box is 19.5 inches long x 5 inches wide x 1.75 inches high, This rule was used aboard the Alden Offshore 53, Seminole Wind, for twenty five years. This rule and box are in excellent usable condition.
