Description
18th Century American or English Mirror. This is very attractive medium size mahogany mirror. The molding surmounting the glass has the cross banded molding with upper radius corners. The scroll pediment as well as the base and side mounts are walnut veneer on pine or spruce. The mirror is in excellent condition with a beautiful mellow 18th century patina. The marks on the base indicate being supported by wall mounted mirror supports. There are one or two minor veneer replacements, less than one half inch. Dimensions are 25 ¼ inches x 14 5/8 inches.
