Description
This is a fine American cherry tripod candlestand, circa 1790. The oval top has a central diamond inlay. The candlestand is 27 inches tall with a 14 inch x 20 inch oval top. The turnings on the shaft are very delicate and refined. This is a well-proportioned piece with a mellow golden color and finish.
