This tea kettle dates from the late 17th or early 18th century and is of Dutch or English origin. The cannon ball body form is of the earliest form. The kettle is constructed of heavy or thick brass also an indication of its early origin. The body measures 7 ½ inches in diameter and 11 ½ inches wide with the spigot, and 10 ½ inches high with handle extended. The tea kettle rests on a 5 ½ inch diameter base.
The tea kettle is in unbelievable original condition with only a few minor dents and is in unpolished as found condition.
